Our office can offer patients nitrous oxide sedation dentistry. Nitrous oxide is a colourless and odourless gas that is often referred to as “laughing gas” because it can stimulate a happy, carefree mood. Nitrous oxide is provided to a patient through a nasal mask and works very quickly to sedate a patient. It also leaves the body quickly, allowing patients to return to their normal activities (including driving) after an appointment.
